Art Contest

APRIL IS FAIR HOUSING MONTH!

Enter the Fair Housing Law Center's 2026 art contest!

The Fair Housing Act makes it illegal to discriminate in the sale or rental of housing because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, familial status, and disability. The Act's goals are to prevent discrimination and to reverse housing segregation. 

PROMPT: We want to see the art that you create in celebration of Fair Housing Month. What does Fair Housing look like in your community? Why is it important?

RULES:

  • Contest open to all ages and all mediums.
  • Contest winners must reside in the following Western Pennsylvania or West Virginia Counties:
    • PA: Armstrong, Beaver, Bedford, Blair, Butler, Cambria, Cameron, Centre, Clarion, Clearfield, Crawford, Elk, Erie, Fayette, Forest, Franklin, Fulton, Greene, Huntingdon, Indiana, Jefferson, Juniata, Lawrence, McKean, Mercer, Mifflin, Potter, Somerset, Venango, Warren, Washington and Westmoreland
    • WV: Brooke, Hancock, Marshall and Ohio.
  • Submit entries using the form below or mail to 10 West Cherry Avenue, Washington, PA 15301.
  • Winners will be announced on our Instagram and Facebook pages.

1st Place: $250  2nd Place: $150  3rd Place: $100
